21 Sep Appalachian State is site of annual conference supporting Master of Public Administration program
Government officials and professional staff will be converging on Appalachian State University this week for an annual conference that uplifts the college’s degree program educating current and future community leaders.
The 28th annual Appalachian State University Local Government Alumni Association (ASULGAA) Conference will be Sept. 22-24 in Boone. Events include panel discussions and educational sessions, local tours and networking opportunities, and student scholarship presentations. Attendees will get to know other municipal officials, local leaders and professional consultants from throughout the region and across the state.
WithersRavenel is a longtime supporter of ASULGAA and will be sponsoring and cooking a barbecue lunch on Wednesday. We commend the university on its successful Masters in Public Administration (MPA) program and other educational opportunities that support the growth of municipal, nonprofit and public safety leaders of all ages. Additionally, WithersRavenel sponsors an ASU lecture room that serves as one of the primary classroom spaces for the program.
