Ask WithersRavenel’s Keith Pugh anything about public works

Even as most business, social and economic activity ground to an almost-complete halt in recent weeks, some things kept going. Among the few who helped keep the country running were public works employees in cities, towns and counties across the country.

Each year, the third week of May is observed as National Public Works Week (NPWW). Through NPWW, the North Carolina chapter of the American Public Works Association (APWA) wants to raise awareness of public works issues and to increase confidence in public works employees who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for present and future generations.

WithersRavenel works everyday with these dedicated public works employees on projects across North Carolina. Our goal of building better and happier communities aligns with that of the public works employees.

We will celebrate the quiet dedication of these public works members during NPWW. Keith Pugh, our Senior Technical Client Advisor, spent 31 years working in municipal public utilities and public works as an engineer. His work has given him keen insight into municipal public works employees.

Keith currently serves on the National APWA Board of Directors as the Region III Director. The region includes North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland.

Send your questions his way, and Keith will share his understanding and knowledge about the hard work that goes into the things that most take for granted – clean water, well-maintained roads and more. You can email him at kpugh@withersravenel.com, or tweet us at @WithersRavenel.
