21 Feb Chatham growth and development explored at meeting
What does the future hold for continued economic development in Chatham County? Find out this week at the Opportunity Chatham gathering.
The annual breakfast meeting is 8-10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center in Pittsboro, sponsored by Chatham Economic Development Corporation. WithersRavenel is a gold sponsor of the annual event that brings together business and community leaders.
State Secretary of Commerce Anthony M. Copeland will be the keynote speaker. He will address North Carolina efforts in economic, workforce and community development. Chatham EDC will also share updates on its business development work.
WithersRavenel is a longtime supporter of economic development in Chatham County. Currently, we are working with Preston Development Corp. on Chatham Park, a 7,100-acre development in Pittsboro. Chatham Park is envisioned as a comprehensive live-work-play community with up to 22,000 residential dwelling units and 22 million square feet of non-residential development.
