Conference focuses on state’s solid waste industry

Municipal leaders, solid waste professionals and technical experts are coming to the coast for a conference on solid waste services.

The Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) North Carolina chapter’s 2021 Fall Conference will be Oct. 25-28 at Hotel Ballast in Wilmington. Highlights of the event include technical sessions, an exhibit hall, Young Professionals event, Riverboat tour, and opportunities for socializing and networking.

WithersRavenel professionals will take part in Equipment Demo Day, noon-5 p.m. Oct. 25 at the New Hanover County landfill.
