29 Apr Maness Golf Tournament benefits Appalachian State MPA program
Government officials and benefactors from across North Carolina will gather Friday in Troy for the 14th annual Roy J. Maness Local Government Endowment Golf Tournament.
Proceeds from the tourney assist Appalachian State University students pursuing local government careers through ASU’s Masters of Public Administration (MPA) program.
In addition to 18 holes of golf at Densons Creek Golf Course in Troy, attendees will enjoy a box lunch, beverages, dinner and an award presentation following the round, and various door prizes. There will also be a putting contest with cash and other awards. Additionally, dinner includes steamed oysters, ribs and a Low Country Boil.
