
An urban planning professional with more than a decade of experience in the Queen City will be joining WithersRavenel’s growing Charlotte office.
Tobe Holmes, AICP, will be a Senior Project Manager in our Site + Civil Department. Tobe most recently served as the Vice President of Economic Development and the Interim Executive Director of University City Partners. In this position, he led all aspects of the organization, which was focused on continuing to uplift the quickly-developing University City community around UNC Charlotte. Before that, Tobe worked with Charlotte Center City Partners, where his planning and management skills were put to use in the historic South End.

With a bounty of experience in project management, land-use planning, and development problem-solving in Charlotte, Tobe brings a varied skillset to our team of employee-owners. He will offer our clients a unique professional perspective and peerless customer service as WithersRavenel continues to expand its reach in Charlotte and the region.

Tobe has a Master of City and Regional Planning degree in Economic Development from Clemson University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Carolina. He serves on the board of Loaves and Fishes / Friendship Trays, a nonprofit fighting hunger in the Charlotte area. Tobe and his wife, Monica, have two young daughters.
