Through a competitive application process, our team will choose a community/organization to receive a service package. Each service has an estimated individual value of up to $5,000, which is donated from WithersRavenel. All submissions will be confidential. The selected community will be publicly announced.
North Carolina counties and municipalities, as well as nonprofit economic developments organizations, are eligible to apply. Communities do not have to be economically distressed.
The following criteria will be heavily considered during the selection process:
Need: What service is your community in need of?
Lack of Resources: Aside from funding, what is holding you back from this service?
Compelling Narrative: Why do you feel this service would benefit your community/organization?
Applications are due by August 30, 2019.
A scope of work will be outlined, and a timeline will be agreed upon with the selected winner(s). For funding applications, submission is dependent on cycle deadline. WithersRavenel is donating their services alone and if the project requires any additional costs, we will discuss upfront. The winner(s) agree(s) to be named as a WithersRavenel client, allow project promotion and photography, and provide a letter acknowledging our donation.
