17 May WithersRavenel celebrates National Public Works Week
Face it – we’ve all had a very tough year. Public works employees especially have faced unique challenges related to COVID-19 and other events. Appropriately, the theme for this year’s National Public Works Week from the American Public Works Association (APWA) is “Stronger Together.” As we recognize public works employees from May 16-22, let’s keep in mind the valuable jobs they perform for our communities.
WithersRavenel is privileged to be associated with public works employees in local communities through our many projects with North Carolina municipalities. From water and wastewater to transportation, stormwater, geomatics, funding and asset management, and other services, we team up with dedicated public works staff members every day, working together to improve cities, towns and counties across the state.
Additionally, numerous WithersRavenel employees serve the APWA in volunteer state and national roles, including:
Keith Pugh, PE: Past president of the North Carolina chapter and current National APWA Region III Director (representing NC, SC, TN, KY, WV, VA, MD and DC)
Cameron Patterson, PE: N.C. Partners & Sponsors Committee Chair
Bri Labbate: N.C. Newsletter Committee Chair
Steve Lander, PE: N.C. NCLM Regulatory Action Committee Chair
Caitlyn Myers: N.C. Basecamp Committee Chair
Lindsay Thomas, GISP: Past President of N.C. Technology Board, Current Member
WithersRavenel is proud to, once again, join APWA as we all celebrate National Public Works Week!
