WithersRavenel named healthiest small company in the Triangle, finishes 4th for Triad

As a testament to our firm’s focus on employee health and wellness, WithersRavenel has received top honors among small companies in the Triangle.

WithersRavenel finished in first place among companies with 100-499 employees in the annual Healthiest Employers awards program for 2022. The recognition follows our company’s 4th place finish in the Triangle in 2021.

WithersRavenel also finished in 4th place for the Healthiest Employers of the Triad region for 2022.

As an employee-owned company, WithersRavenel focuses on health and wellness intentionally. From programs tied to our company health plan, to running and walking clubs, to lunchtime yoga or mental health education and assistance, WithersRavenel makes a daily commitment in our programming to better employee health.

“We are grateful for this award and believe it reflects the emphasis we put on both our client and employee experiences,” said Jim Canfield, PE, President and CEO of WithersRavenel. “We believe it all begins with healthy and engaged teammates that results in meaningful and memorable experiences for our clients. We’re also proud to offer a variety of topics and activities that cover the full spectrum of wellness, to encourage our teammates to optimize their health and well-being.”

Of particular note is our unique Thrive Wellbeing Program, which offers our employee-owners a multitude of ways to engage in healthy activities and educational opportunities. Some of our Thrive programs include:

  • Quarterly challenge campaigns to get employees engaged in healthy behaviors and other wellness initiatives.
  • Regular 15-minute microtraining programs on physical, mental, and financial health topics.
  • Thirty Seconds to Thrive video clips, giving employees a quick lift each week.

Our Thrive program has resonated with employee-owners throughout the company.

“I really appreciate the WithersRavenel Thrive Initiatives because they create a community for motivation and give me resources to boost my well-being in unique ways!” Funding and Asset Management Staff Professional Casey Dolan says. “The training, videos, and challenges provide a reminder to take time for my health and wellness. Through the initiatives, I have learned a lot more about the hobbies and activities of my colleagues, and I have even found new ideas on how to boost my own routines.”
