23 Sep WithersRavenel promotes Jessica Leggett to Director of Funding Services
Every day WithersRavenel aims to uplift North Carolina’s communities through our work. One of the most important ways we achieve that goal is by helping cities and towns secure funding for vital infrastructure projects.
WithersRavenel is pleased to announce that Jessica Leggett will be taking the reins of our highly-successful Funding Services team. We have assisted public sector clients in successfully applying for more than $787 million in funding by determining the best grant and loan sources for each project, and then working with the client from application through funding administration.
“I am excited for the opportunity to lead our exceptionally talented funding team at WithersRavenel and continue to work with clients to secure funding for their infrastructure needs,” Jessica said. “The knowledge and expertise of our funding team at WithersRavenel truly sets us apart.”
Prior to joining WithersRavenel, Jessica worked for 10 years as a Project Manager and Engineer at the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in the Division of Water Infrastructure. While at DEQ, she also served as the liaison for Governor Cooper’s Hometown Strong Initiative, which provided a more personal, hands-on approach for rural communities. Jessica’s background in state government infrastructure funding, and bridging the gap between state government and local governments, provides key insights and knowledge to our clients.
Jessica has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering, with Bioprocess and Environmental concentrations, from North Carolina State University.
WithersRavenel congratulates Jessica on her new role! Do you want to investigate grant and loan funding opportunities for an upcoming project? Reach out to Jessica at (919) 535-5170 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
