WithersRavenel’s funding professionals recently helped our municipal clients earn more than $11.2 million in grants and loans for drinking water, sewer, and stormwater projects, along with lead service line inventories and replacements.
The grant and loan award announcements were among more than $238 million in funding pledged by the state of North Carolina’s Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) through its Division of Water Infrastructure (DWI). The application process was competitive, and the State Water Infrastructure Authority approved the funding for 114 projects in communities across the state.
