Senior Project Manager Dale Werenko, PE, CFM has been promoted to the position of Vice President by WithersRavenel. Dale has also transferred from the Land Development Department to the Environmental Department. His new title is Director of Environmental Engineering; he will report to Butch Lawter, Director of Environmental Services. Dale’s focus will be to assist the Environmental Group with their multi-faceted engineering needs and also assist with market growth in other sectors such as concrete and asphalt plant permitting, industrial mining, aggregates, and other areas. Dale will also continue his faithful service to his long-term land development and real estate investor clients. Michael Paul will also follow Dale to the Environmental Group.
Dale joined our firm in June 1997 as a Civil Engineering Technician in the Land Development Department. Through persistent hard work and dedication, he has striven to learn all aspects of the engineering business to advance to his current position.
Dale has managed and designed a wide variety of major land development projects, including Hasentree Golf Community, the nationally recognized five-star Umstead Hotel & Spa, and the 2005 major relocation of the NC State Fairgrounds carnival midway. He has also designed and permitted more than a dozen asphalt/concrete plants, including two ACEC award-winning concrete plant designs.
Dale’s strong work ethic, unwavering commitment to clients, and desire for continuous learning has led to successful project delivery time and time again. He became a WithersRavenel shareholder in 2005.
Dale’s promotion to Vice President and Director of Environmental Engineering reflects his continued commitment to propel WithersRavenel into the future by filling gaps and allowing us to expand our services and markets. Congratulations Dale!
