WithersRavenel welcomes Dana Bolden, PE, CFM, as a new Senior Utilities Project Manager in our Asheville office.
Dana is a Western North Carolina native and a longtime engineer, with more than 30 years of public and private sector consulting and regulatory experience. His background includes extensive project management along with work on a variety of water and wastewater projects, from initial design through bidding and construction administration/observation. Dana has also worked on projects with stormwater, erosion control and site development components. He has performed hydraulic design and HEC-RAS modeling for roadway and pedestrian bridge stream crossings.
With experience in business development, and with a variety of grant funding initiatives as well, Dana possesses the wide-ranging knowledge, leadership and communication experience to serve our clients across WNC with a multitude of projects. Also, his technical knowledge of mountain landscapes and environmental challenges will provide communities with expertise in developing and designing a range of infrastructure projects.

WithersRavenel will allow me to continue that work while improving access to needed water resources and economic opportunities for all of the area’s residents.”
Dana earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from North Carolina State University after graduating from Tuscola High School in Waynesville. In addition to being a Professional Engineer licensed in both North and South Carolina, he is also a Certified Floodplain Manager and a Level III NCDOT Sediment & Erosion Control Designer.
