Landscape Architect Daniel Whatley, ASLA, CID, has been promoted to Landscape Architecture Manager at WithersRavenel.
Daniel is based in our downtown Raleigh location, where we have a dedicated, open-space Parks Studio consisting of talented landscape architects and planners. These creators are able to easily collaborate with engineers, environmental, and survey staff at the same site, enhancing project delivery techniques among the multifaceted firm.
Daniel’s new role allows him to engage the landscape architecture team at a managerial level, focusing on enhancing the client experience, as well as overseeing project delivery, ensuring projects are met on time and within budget. His exceptional ability to mentor and encourage collaboration will be an added strength as the team continues to expand.
Daniel’s daily goal is fusing people and the natural environment together in a thoughtful, aesthetically-pleasing manner. He is passionate about smart growth planning of our urban sectors, green corridors, and open spaces.
Daniel has been a part of the WithersRavenel team for one year. He is a licensed Professional Landscape Architect, Certified Irrigation Designer, Landscape Contractor, and a North Carolina Certified Plan Professional. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), and the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA). He attended North Carolina State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticultural Science.
Please join us in congratulating Daniel on his promotion!
