WithersRavenel welcomes Ed Woloszyn to our Environmental Services team as Director of Geosciences.
With more than 35 years of scientific and management experience in the environmental services field, Ed brings wide-ranging expertise to WithersRavenel. His consulting background includes project work involving due diligence, regulatory compliance, risk management, and health and safety programs. He has worked for both public and private sector clients and is committed to client service and sustainability.
In his leadership role, Ed will be responsible for the high-quality execution of project work and the management of our growing environmental services team. Whether we are providing site assessments, investigations, permitting and compliance services, or performing due diligence ahead of site development, Ed will guide our team members working with clients to navigate regulations while protecting the environment.
“I enjoy developing relationships with clients and becoming a trusted advisor, building a team of professionals to work with them,” Ed said. “Establishing this relationship through honest problem solving with their best interests in mind is very satisfying.”
Ed has a Master of Science degree in Marine Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from the College of Charleston. He is a Registered Environmental Manager and member of the American Council of Engineering Companies of North Carolina (ACEC-NC). Ed has twin daughters in college and has been with his best friend and wife for nearly 40 years.
