
WithersRavenel’s infrastructure funding experts recently helped municipal clients secure more than $16.4 million in grants and low-interest loans to support critical drinking water and sewer infrastructure projects. These awards also include funding for lead service line (LSL) inventories and replacements.
The funding was announced by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) through its Division of Water Infrastructure (DWI), following approval from the State Water Infrastructure Authority (SWIA) on July 16, 2025. Award recipients will receive a Letter of Intent to Fund from the NCDEQ’s DWI.
