WithersRavenel’s Practice Area Lead for Utilities will be taking on new responsibilities with the North Carolina Rural Water Association (NCRWA).
Ken Orie, PE, will be the Region 3 representative on the NCRWA Associate Member Task Force. He will serve in the position for two years. Responsibilities of task force members include planning the NCRWA’s annual state conference.
At a time of generational funding being available, I wanted to make sure that the information being provided by NCRWA helps the communities navigate the rules and challenges that come with these funding opportunities,Ken said.
The NCRWA’s mission is to serve water and wastewater systems throughout the state, particularly those in rural areas. In addition to advocating for local systems through its relationships with elected officials and state agencies, the NCRWA provides municipal water and wastewater employees with valuable training and technical assistance.
WithersRavenel is a longtime supporter of NCRWA and municipal water and wastewater systems and their employees. Please join us in congratulating Ken on this new role!
