Civic leaders throughout North Carolina converge on the coast to talk about hot topics in local government administration for the NCCCMA Summer Seminar 2021.
The North Carolina City & County Management Association (NCCCMA) Summer Seminar will be June 24-26 at the Wilmington Convention Center. City and county leaders from throughout the state along with WithersRavenel team members and other industry professionals will come together for the seminar.
Chief Experience and Innovation Officer Eddie Staley and Western Regional Manager Mark Stephens are teaming up to speak on asset management. Their presentation, “Asset Management for Effective Use of Stimulus Funding,” will illustrate how proactive asset management strategies can aid the process of seeking American Rescue Plan funding.
The agenda for the three-day event strikes a balance between personal and professional development opportunities. Highlights include a pre-conference golf tournament, workshops, educational sessions, and legislative updates. The schedule also includes time for networking, checking out the exhibit hall, and exploring the Wilmington area.
The NCCCMA is the professional association for city and county managers and assistants from throughout North Carolina. The group aims to improve the quality of local government while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
