This three-day event will take place from Monday, July 26, through Wednesday, July 28. Attendees must participate all three days to receive certification/recertification.
Training will include PACP, MACP, and LACP certification. Recertification users can also attend the training session.
Attendees will be taught skills to fully understand conditions and defects found in gravity sewer systems by learning defect codes, condition ratings, and industry standards. This knowledge will enable them to assess and understand the deficiencies in both sanitary and storm sewer systems.
The sessions will be held in the Highwoods Conference Center at 416 Gallimore Dairy Road, Suite J, Greensboro, NC 27409.
Training will be hosted by Keith Carpenter, PE. Keith has been a certified PACP, LACP, and MACP trainer since 2007. In addition, he has provided engineering consulting services for more than 15 years with a focus on water resources engineering for local governments. His diverse skill set includes plan review, plan design, database management, GIS input, project management, specification writing, rehab methods, Capacity, Management, Operations and Maintenance (CMOM) implementation, and PACP CCTV review. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
The training cost of $975 includes all classroom materials for PACP, MACP, and LACP certification; breakfast and snacks each day; and lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Students can also bring their own snacks and drinks to class.
