WithersRavenel’s Future Project Managers Academy (FPMA) is thriving, and so are its members. The second cohort of sixteen students graduated during a ceremony hosted at The Mayton in downtown Cary.
Three members of company leadership spoke to the graduates about their achievement: President and CEO Jim Canfield, PE; Chief Delivery Officer Lars Hagen, PE; and Director of Project Management Warren Ladbrook, PE, PMP. They emphasized the unique opportunity that FPMA represents and exhorted the graduates to apply what they have learned to their projects to deliver an exceptional client experience.
Chief People Officer Jess Vollmer and Chief Risk Officer Chan Bryant, PE were also in attendance to show their support for the graduating class.
The third cohort of students began their project management journey in April and are expected to graduate in fall 2024.
FPMA was created to give additional training to current and prospective project managers who show strong potential to be leaders in their practice area. It is open to staff of any discipline and covers a range of technical and non-technical topics. It is one of several initiatives at WithersRavenel to provide continual professional development for its more than 400 employee-owners.
