The Acorn on Person Street in Raleigh has been honored with a 2024 Downtown Imprint Award from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance.
The primary developer on the project was Williams Realty and Building Co., while Cline Design served as the architect and landscape architect. WithersRavenel served as the principal site/civil engineer for the transformative apartment project. Highlights of the development include:
- Seven-story multi-family apartment development
- Four stories of 106 residential units
- Three-story 200-space shared parking deck
- Fitness center
- Clubhouse and pool with elevated courtyard
- Work-from-home center
- Pet spa
- Bicycle storage
WithersRavenel provided a range of professional services for the project. Our work began with site due diligence, and extended to site planning and approval, surveying, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), fire hydrant flow testing, stormwater analysis and design services, permitting, and construction administration services.
The Downtown Raleigh Alliance administrates the downtown Municipal Services District and aims to grow its economy while making Downtown Raleigh an attractive place to live, work and visit. The Alliance presents the awards annually in recognition of major developments that contribute to the growth and future success of downtown.
WithersRavenel has worked with Williams Realty and Building Co. and Cline Design on numerous land, design, and building projects across the Triangle. We congratulate our partners on this project and look forward to collaborating with them on future development in the months and years to come.
