How can Cary continue to become a better place to live, work and play? By learning from the successes of other cities and towns across the country.
The Cary Chamber of Commerce is leading an Intercity Visit to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex April 3-5. WithersRavenel President Jim Canfield and Vice President Brock Storrusten will be among the people traveling to Texas in the group.
The group will not only check out Dallas and Fort Worth, but also Irving and Frisco, other growing towns in the Metroplex. While visiting downtowns, parks and arenas, the Cary group will explore topics such as redevelopment, long-range planning, transit, and public-private initiatives.
The Cary Chamber has visited 15 other cities and communities in recent years in an effort to keep abreast of ways that municipalities address issues and solve problems. The visits have helped inform Cary’s plans for the future. We look forward to joining other Cary leaders on this important trip to Texas!
