The Wellness Council of America (WELCOA) has honored WithersRavenel with its prestigious Well Workplace Award. With this designation, WELCOA recognizes our firm as one of the nation’s healthiest companies in 2021.
WELCOA cited WithersRavenel as a Gold Well Workplace. Companies meeting this standard have demonstrated that they have a clear and unique business case for wellness in the organization and have created appropriate wellness initiatives and strategies to achieve that vision.”
WithersRavenel’s overall wellness programming is driven by our Thrive Wellbeing Committee. The group, comprised of representatives from each department, evaluates employee participation and interest in current wellness activities while also generating ideas for new or expanded services. Additionally, WithersRavenel regularly collects feedback on our programming through surveys and employee check-ins, making adjustments to reflect our employee needs and requests. Our wellness program not only focuses on physical health, but also mental/emotional and financial well-being.
We are so very proud and honored to receive this award,WithersRavenel Chief People Officer Jess Vollmer said. While we know from internal employee feedback that our Thrive Wellbeing program hits the mark for our employees and is making a difference for them, it is also fantastic to have validation from such a respected organization like WELCOA!”
Examples of just some of WithersRavenel’s wellness activities include health plan-related coverage and services; contests and targeted educational sessions focused on healthy habits; lunchtime yoga classes and company-sponsored athletic teams; social media support of healthy activities and behaviors; an emphasis on mental/emotional health awareness; and financial education sessions.
