WithersRavenel’s Charlotte office is growing with the addition of a utilities engineering leader at the location. Chris Rosenboom is the Director of Utilities, and brings more than 20 years of design and review experience working on public utilities projects.
Chris got his start working for municipalities in Florida, where he worked both for local government and in the private sector. His experience includes 12 years of client management and project management experience as well as leading a successful team. His specific project level experience has included all facets of project delivery, including planning, hydraulic modeling, design, permitting, and construction management.
With WithersRavenel, he is ready to grow the Charlotte utilities team, and will manage the client base in the area by listening carefully to the client concerns, and by ensuring project delivery is on budget and schedule.
A successful project meets the immediate operational and growth-related goals that were established by WithersRavenel and the client, is designed and constructed with long-term maintainability in mind, and is completed within the client’s budget and schedule,Chris said.
With ongoing price escalation and material delays, we should be able to define project success with respect to budget and schedule by consistently updating the client regarding the changing conditions within the construction industry, and helping the client make smart fiscal decisions as these conditions dictate.”
Chris has bachelor’s degree in civil engineering form University of South Florida, Tampa. When he is not working on projects, Chris, who grew up in Florida, enjoys hiking, camping, and barbecue.
