WithersRavenel is helping to shape a new community in Raleigh, and we’re celebrating with others at an upcoming gathering.
The Southeast Raleigh Community Festival begins at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 27, and will dedicate and celebrate the new home of the Southeast Raleigh YMCA, Southeast Raleigh Elementary School, DHIC housing and other community services. WithersRavenel employees will be smoking BBQ for the free lunch and community event at the site at 1436 Rock Quarry Road.
Through a partnership with Purpose-Built Communities, the Southeast Raleigh Promise, and Wake County Public Schools, the YMCA of the Triangle is working to develop the community that includes a full-service YMCA, a public elementary school, and approximately 120 affordable housing units. WithersRavenel has worked with the YMCA throughout the process, assisting with site selection and providing master planning, civil engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture.
Parking for the event is across the street from the site at the Wake County Public Schools Central Services Complex. Come check out the new YMCA and other sites, and join us for some fantastic BBQ. We look forward to seeing you there!
