Galvin’s Ridge is a 1,000-unit community that will feature a mix of single-family homes, townhomes, and apartments. Residents will be served by a variety of amenities, including a clubhouse, public and private greenways, a community pool, a playground, a dog park, a multi-sport court, and a picnic area.
The project is slated to be built in four phases, with a latter phase expanding the development to the east side of US 1. More than 13 acres of the 427-acre site will eventually be developed into commercial space. A future development targeting the area east of US 1 and North of Colon Road will provide additional commercial and multi-family spaces.
WithersRavenel is providing comprehensive land development services for this project, including a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and natural resources assessment, landscape architecture and monument design, stormwater management, permitting, and a variety of other planning, design, and project management services.
Galvin’s Ridge is located on the west side of US Highway 1 and north of Colon Road in Sanford, North Carolina. Combined with Laurel Oaks, it will add a total of more than 2,000 housing units to the Sanford area, making it the largest residential development in Lee County’s history.
