The North Carolina Association of County Commissioners (NCACC) compiles county-level data in an annual County Map Book. These maps and data tables offer insights on a variety of demographic, economic, health, and educational topics for each of our state’s 100 counties.
The goal of the annual Map Book is to provide data and context to help arm local officials with relevant information, promoting analysis and solid decision-making on a range of topics.
WithersRavenel assisted the NCACC with its 2024 Map Book. Our GIS professionals provided updates for existing maps, while also creating maps for new indicators and topics that matched the format and style of the existing documents. We also updated the NCACC’s existing GIS files and database with the new information contained in the 2024 Map Book update.
