The Walker is a vertically integrated mixed-use development in downtown Cary. It provides more than 150 living units. The Walker also includes 34,000 square feet of retail and 102,000 square feet of office space upon completion.
Located next to the groundbreaking Downtown Cary Park, the development reflects the developer and Cary’s concerted effort to invest in the redevelopment of the Town Center. It also aims to boost density and offer a variety of housing stock. The site’s parking deck is a shared structure with the park and Cary Regional Library. This promotes a sense of community within the urban neighborhood. Additionally, it provides a location certain to attract new residents.
As the civil engineering consultant to Academy Park Cary, LLC, while working with architect Cline Design, WithersRavenel provided a range of civil engineering services, including civil site design, surveying, permitting, and construction administration and observation. We also served as the site landscape architect, providing exterior landscape architecture and streetscape design services.
