Take the Mystery Out of Property History
An affordable approach to environmental assessments
The liability and cleanup costs associated with a contaminated site can be extensive. We complete the technical aspects of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) in stages, with each step providing more clarity on the historical uses of a property. Based on the findings and conclusions of the Phase I ESA, clients may choose to pursue a Phase II ESA to obtain more specific information. This approach empowers clients to proceed or stop when they believe they have enough information to make an informed decision.
Additional assessment options to identify and mitigate specific risks
Phase II ESAs can take many forms, but usually consist of surface or subsurface sampling activities. We tailor our scope based on the Phase I ESA and the client’s needs to identify and mitigate specific potential risks in soil, soil vapor, groundwater, and surface water.
Timely delivery to enable fast but prudent decision-making
When considering property to buy, sell, or redevelop, clients are often walking a tightrope between moving quickly to close a financially lucrative deal and treading carefully to avoid unnecessary risk and expense. We work within tight deadlines to deliver the documents clients need to act with confidence.
