Local parks leaders from throughout the state are coming to Durham to connect and share insights at an important annual event.
The North Carolina Parks and Recreation Directors Conference will be Feb. 2-4 at the Sheraton Imperial RTP in Durham. Highlights of the gathering include numerous learning opportunities, a welcome reception, roundtable sessions, advocacy updates, and time for networking.
The annual education event for local parks and recreation managers has a rich history. The first event traces back to 1947 and was organized with help from UNC-Chapel Hill’s then Department of Leisure Studies.
WithersRavenel is proud to be a sponsor of this event. Please stop by and visit our exhibit, and let’s talks about community parks and recreation. We look forward to connecting with old friends and making new ones in Durham!
