Congratulations to Ed Tang, PE for his graduation with the 2018-2019 class of Leadership Cary! Leadership Cary is a seven-month-long program presented by the Cary Chamber of Commerce. Participants are introduced to key groups in the Cary community, including local nonprofits, health and medical services providers, economic developers, local government agencies, entrepreneurs, and law enforcement officials. Through a series of educational and networking sessions, they build leadership skills, strengthen community bonds, and discover new opportunities to lead locally.
Tang is a Senior Project Manager in WithersRavenel’s Land Development & Planning Department. In this capacity, he manages the design of residential, office, mixed-use, retail, and medical office projects, including site/civil engineering, stormwater management, and transportation design. His Cary portfolio includes project management for the Crabtree Creek Greenway, which won an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) 2019 Engineering Excellence Award and a Silver Award from the 2019 Greater Triangle Stewardship Development Awards (GTSDA) Program.
In fact, Ed’s portfolio is predominantly Cary land development projects because they leverage his knowledge of the Town and his relationships. Ed has been a Cary resident for the last 15 years and has a vested interest in being a leader in his hometown.
We look forward to seeing the positive impact that Ed will continue to have on the Cary community!
