CF Evans Construction, a nationally recognized leader in the multi-family construction industry, is hosting a panel discussion on multi-family construction tonight at 5:30 P.M. at the Traine at Historic Seaboard Station in Raleigh, NC. Industry experts and city government officials will weigh in on development, constructability, permitting requirements and challenges, architectural review, and team coordination, particularly as they relate to Raleigh and the surrounding Triangle region.
The panel will be moderated by David Summers Director of Construction at CF Evans Construction. Panel members include Mike Underwood, a founding partner of Woodfield Investments; Rusty Porter, Vice President of Preconstruction Services at CF Evans Construction; Niki Jones Assistant Director of the Housing and Neighborhoods Department at the City of Raleigh; William D. Egan, AIA, LEED AP, a partner at JDavis Architects; and our own Tucker McKenzie, PE, a project manager in WithersRavenel’s Land Development & Planning Department.
Tucker brings 12 years of experience in civil engineering and design primarily for private land development projects. He has been involved in the development of residential and mixed-use communities ranging in size from 160 to nearly 1,000 dwelling units. His current focus is the firm’s commercial portfolio, which includes non-residential and multi-family clients. These projects have varied from single-use outparcel buildings to large, multi-phased master planned developments.
