Planning for the future may be the furthest thing from anyone’s mind in the present climate. Emergency situations, however, have a way of highlighting where past planning efforts may have fallen short. They provide an opportunity to evaluate what does and does not work. They can also help us better anticipate and prepare for potential issues.
