WithersRavenel is excited to welcome Randy Hintz to the Utilities department in a new location in Asheville, NC. A resident of Asheville for almost three decades and a registered Professional Engineer, Randy brings extensive experience in managing, coordinating, and designing all aspects of projects involving utility coordination and relocation. His expertise ranges from preliminary design development plans and budgetary cost estimates through contract documents and jurisdictional approvals to construction phase services.
Prior to joining WithersRavenel, Randy was the Supervisor for the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, Public Water Supply Section, Asheville Regional Office. In this role he was responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and technical assistance for approximately 1,280 public water systems within the 19 westernmost counties of North Carolina. He has also spent more than 25 years in the engineering consulting industry.
Randy is not only a knowledgeable and hardworking addition to the Utilities team, but also the cornerstone of a new engineering office for WithersRavenel in Asheville. He will work closely with our strategic partners WR-Martin to better serve existing and future clients in the western part of the state.
