With an eye on the future, leaders of the Town of Elkin and WithersRavenel are looking for public input in developing a Town-Wide Comprehensive Master Plan.
The community is invited to attend upcoming drop-in sessions Dec. 4 and 5 to offer opinions for the future plan. From 10 a.m. -7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, folks can drop in at the Yadkin Valley Experience Center at 257 Standard St. in Elkin. From 5:30-7:30, wine and cheese refreshments will be available.
The second drop-in session will be noon-6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5 at The Elkin Center, 1461 N. Bridge St. in Elkin.
If you live or work in Elkin, own a home or a business, or like to visit the town, your voice is important. The success of the community and this planning process depends on your input and feedback as the Town-Wide Comprehensive Master Plan is created. The Plan aims to outline the goals and vision for the community and its future, helping guide the Town forward for the next 15 years.
