For municipalities, local governments, and agencies, having a spending plan for infrastructure management can be as vital as securing the funding itself. To make a robust case for funding, it is necessary to know specifically where those funds will be used.
To shed more light on how to prepare for the future through effective planning, WithersRavenel’s Director of Funding Jessica Leggett along with Senior Technical Asset Management Consultant Rod Lovely joined Ashay Prabhu, Vice President of Strategic Asset Management, Dude Solutions, for a webinar on Planning and Preparation for a Sustainable Future.”
Prabhu is the co-founder of Assetic, recently acquired by Dude Solutions. His 20 years of experience includes development of condition algorithms, asset valuation methods, and life-cycle prediction analytics. He is passionate about applying this science to close the global infrastructure renewal gap.
Leggett assists WithersRavenel’s local government clients with strategic consulting initiatives as well as grant/loan-related projects. Her previous role as project manager and engineer at the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) in the Division of Water Infrastructure particularly equips her in dealing with these client issues.
Lovely, with more than 35 years of experience in infrastructure asset management and supporting technologies, has led the procurement, development, implementation, and management of asset management solutions for dozens of organizations, public and private, across a variety of asset classes.
Attendees of this webinar will be better able to answer many of the questions that arise when trying to avail additional dollars through stimulus funds.
The goal of the discussion is to equip you to understand:
- Where we are today with the American Rescue Plan (ARP) and its various funding sources
- How strategic asset management can strengthen your case for capital improvement planning
- How data can be used to spur new projects or restart projects
Listen to this vital discussion about obtaining complete and accurate asset data for lifecycle modeling to prioritize the right projects at the right time to build your case for funding.
