WithersRavenel congratulates Director of Human Resources Christine Ingram, SPHR, who recently graduated from the 2024 Leadership Cary program.
The graduation ceremony was hosted at the Prestonwood Country Club in Cary on May 22.
Christine was part of the 2023-24 cohort that participated in eight daylong training and learning sessions. These sessions involved speakers from various walks of life, including nonprofits, law enforcement, medical experts, and educators. Participants met up at various Cary locations depending on the subject, including a detention center, a community college, and a medical facility. The goal of these exercises was to boost leadership and team-building skills.
For Christine, it was a fulfilling endeavor. “As a longtime Cary resident, I was surprised by how little I knew about our Cary community,” she said. “Leadership Cary was so enlightening as each session brought new insight about all the changes happening, from the growing number of nonprofit opportunities to the rapidly expanding economic development.”
She particularly enjoyed being part of a talented cohort, which made her experience even more worthwhile. “I felt so lucky to be able to absorb all the information that was presented to us and apply the knowledge to WithersRavenel’s aspirations and, even more specifically, my work responsibilities,” she said. “I am honored to have been selected to represent WithersRavenel and am grateful that our community makes this investment in its leaders.”
Christine is a UNC-Chapel Hill graduate, with more than 20 years of experience in human resource management, having worked in telecom, hospitality, and the nonprofit sectors before joining WithersRavenel. She has a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification and, in addition to being the Director of Human Resources, she serves as the office leader for the WithersRavenel’s new Downtown Cary Rogers Building.

She is the proud mother of three young adults who attend North Carolina State University, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Cary High School, respectively. Christine is one of several WithersRavenel employees in recent years to participate in Leadership Cary, reflecting our firm’s focus on the continual professional development and growth of all its employee-owners.
