The Lexington Pavement Condition Survey highlighted key needs for maintenance and planning. The City of Lexington, NC, is a quaint city of about 19,000 residents just south of Winston-Salem. WithersRavenel completed a pavement condition survey (PCS) for the City, and then established a pavement management work plan by incorporating the PCS results into a pavement lifecycle model.

WithersRavenel also provides the City with pavement management services. These services keep the City’s model up to date by tracking pavement treatments the City has applied, unit costs changes, and other factors.
In fact, this survey plays a crucial role in driving these management decisions. Moreover, updates are often based directly on the latest Lexington Pavement Condition Survey findings to maintain consistency.
As a result, the City remains proactive in its infrastructure upkeep thanks to the insights gained from this project.
