Pavement Authority consolidates and enhances pavement management service offerings
WithersRavenel expands its pavement management and asset management services through Pavement Authority by WithersRavenel. Built on decades of industry experience, Pavement Authority serves municipalities across the Southeast with infrastructure solutions derived from a holistic approach to pavement management that combines traditional methodology and lifecycle modeling.
Whether a municipality has abundant roadway data or none at all, WithersRavenel’s team collects and analyzes data through predictive modeling software to generate easy-to-understand models and scenarios tailored to clients’ budgetary needs. Additionally, Pavement Authority offers clients an array of service options, including pavement condition surveys (PCS), lifecycle modeling, street resurfacing, street improvements, data collection, asset management plans, and managed services.
“Pavement Authority is unique because it removes the disconnect that typically exists between phases of a pavement management program. Having success at each project phase and between phases ensures a successful program that benefits all stakeholders,” states Steve Lander, PE, WithersRavenel’s Director of Pavement Management. “Not all pavement management programs do that. There’s a lot of information out there and knowing how all the pieces fit together is the trick. We work diligently with our client to ensure that they get the right solution for their needs, not ours, that ultimately manages the roadway at the highest level of service for the least cost.”
Through Pavement Authority, WithersRavenel will continue its goal to make communities more resilient and develop cost-effective strategies to meet their pavement infrastructure needs.
