Night Vision & Thermal Imaging Using Infrared Sensors
Real-time data collection
Our Remote Sensing team can detect and monitor temperature differentiation over large sites or structures, identifying hot and cold pixels in real time with digital zoom. By applying post-processing techniques to the imagery, WithersRavenel can also perform detailed thermal analysis or stitch together large mosaics that retain infrared symbology using structure from motion (SfM) software. This allows clients to make prompt operational or structural adjustments to promote energy efficiency on site.
Limited site disturbances
The use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) or drones enables us to gather thermal data remotely during the day or night, limiting disturbances to traffic, business operations, and property owners going about their daily lives.
Reduced risk and increased safety
At water and sewer plants and other project sites, electrical equipment plays a vital role in operations and safety. Our remote sensing staff can help clients safely determine electrical problems and target necessary repairs. They can also identify leaks in piping or material handling equipment, helping our clients pinpoint needed repairs and rehabilitation within buildings or utilities systems.
