Job Purpose

A WithersRavenel Marketing Coordinator owns the process of creating, maintaining, and distributing branded material to advance the firm as a leading engineering, planning, and surveying services provider in North Carolina. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Internal Responsibilities
    • Develop proposals, statements of qualifications, and presentations in response to RFQs/RFPs, including writing, editing, creative design, production, shipping, and coordination with other technical and marketing team members

Geomatics Department Manager

Position Summary

WithersRavenel, Inc. seeks a seasoned professional with management experience to join our firm as Manager of our 45+ person Geomatics Department in Cary, North Carolina. The Department currently offers GIS, SUE, UAS, Laser Scanning, Hydrographic and traditional land surveying to support both the public and private sector markets. The ideal candidate will have a PLS with a solid track record in land surveying with experience in the delivery of property, design and construction surveying in a firm offering civil / environmental engineering services.

The Geomatics Department Manager will lead with ultimate responsibility for strategic planning, technological advancement, business development, recruitment & retention, financial performance and overall quality for the group. Ultimately the GDM will expand the practice of Geomatics into our other North Carolina offices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 10-15+ years’ experience in Land Surveying/Geomatics.
  • North Carolina PLS required (or ability to obtain via reciprocity).
  • 5-10 years demonstrated experience supervising and successfully managing projects within the constraints of time, cost, and performance requirements, providing technical oversight for projects and all related project phases and tasks, to include quality assurance reviews.

Position Summary

WithersRavenel, Inc. has an immediate opening for a self-motivated Survey Project Manager for our Cary, NC, office. The ideal candidate would be proficient in the following:

  • Civil 3D, Carlson, MS Office
  • Boundary/Topo Construction Calculations, Preparation of Right-of-Way Acquisitions and Easements, subdivision plats, and ALTA/ NSPS Land Title Surveys
  • Analysis of survey data, review of final maps, research title data, and record drawings research

Survey CAD Technician (MicroStation) – Cary Office

Position Summary

This person is responsible for the production of maps and drawings. The major objectives are the quality (accuracy, thoroughness, clarity) of work, meeting schedules, within budgets, and responsive service to client. This person will coordinate the production of maps and drawings to cover all details so that the quality is present and budgets and schedules are met. This person will be responsible for downloading/uploading field data, technical production of maps and drawings using various software platforms, communicating with project team.

Landscape Architect Project Manager – Downtown Raleigh Office

Position Summary

The Landscape Architect is responsible for the completing landscape architecture tasks and projects. He/she will work with a multidisciplinary team of landscape architects, civil engineers, surveyors, designers, and other project managers to continue providing exceptional service and designs for our clients. Job Purpose

CAD Technician I’s are entry-level positions to support assigned planners, engineers, and landscape architects by providing technical CAD support and creating construction drawings using CAD software for projects under close supervision. They will also compile technical data from drawings, field notes, and/or electronic data.
