The annual NC GIS Conference is going virtual for 2021, and WithersRavenel will be there Feb. 16-19.
The program for the annual event includes a bounty of speakers, demonstrations, workshops and opportunities for social interaction. Attendees will be able to learn about GIS technology, data resources, and collaborative ideas and projects.
WithersRavenel will be a virtual vendor at the event. Be sure to check us out in the Demo Theater 2:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17, for a presentation from Innovation Services Director Chuck Wright, GISP. Wright will demonstrate how GIS-enabled tools can help municipalities with road infrastructure asset management, including Pavement Condition Surveys and long-term capital planning.
Also, WithersRavenel GIS Technician Justin Richardson will be leading a breakout session on Feb. 17 with Zachary Petersen from the City of Greensboro. WithersRavenel is doing stormwater culvert inspections for the City, and the pair will discuss how using the ESRI data collection apps Survey123 and Collector together benefits the City. While we can’t be together in person, we look forward to connecting with colleagues and clients at the virtual event!
