The job market in the Triangle is booming, and new subdivisions are cropping up throughout southwest Wake County to house the flood of transplants. Quiet bedroom communities, and particularly their downtown areas, are evolving to attract and retain commuter populations. These rapid changes and their impact on land prices and future development are the topic of the Triangle Business Journal’s third SPACE LIVE event.
SPACE LIVE brings together developers, real estate professionals, engineers, architects, and construction contractors to discuss how trends in business, politics, and land development are shaping life in the Triangle. The panel for this event includes the following experts:
- Jason Bertoncino, PE, Vice President and Assistant Director of Land Development at WithersRavenel
- Jay Lewis, Raleigh Division President of Dan Ryan Builders
- Baxter Walker, Senior Vice President at Colliers International
- Moss Withers, Broker at NAI Carolantic (and son of WithersRavenel co-founder Tony Withers)
Ben Graham, Reporter at the Triangle Business Journal, will moderate the panel.
The event will take place Tuesday, October 16, at The Dillon, located at 223 South West Street in Raleigh, NC. It will run from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM and include networking opportunities.
