For the second consecutive year, WithersRavenel’s Jim Canfield has been recognized as one of the most influential leaders in North Carolina’s private sector.
Business North Carolina compiles its Power List annually, shining a spotlight on the people who help business enterprises and communities across the state thrive. BNC creates its list based on nominations, research, and the experience of its many employees covering business and related topics across the state.
Jim has worked at WithersRavenel since 1990 and served as the company’s president since 2013. He has not only been an instrumental part of the company’s growth and financial success, his leadership has also been vital to the company’s transition to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) company. Today, WithersRavenel is 100% employee-owned, with headquarters in Cary and eight additional offices across the state, stretching from Asheville to Wilmington.
Jim also champions our firm’s culture and our core values of quality, community, integrity, sustainability, respect, and collaboration. His commitment to employee-driven innovation and professional development positions WithersRavenel for continuing success in the AEC industry.
BNC has also recognized WithersRavenel for the last three years as a member of its Mid-Market 40 List, which celebrates fast-growing companies in North Carolina.
