Ashe County retained WithersRavenel to provided due diligence and site evaluation services in support of the potential development of a new industrial park on approximately 42 acres along Ray Taylor Road in the Town of West Jefferson.

- Preliminary utility coordination
- Preliminary cost estimating
This phase of the project culminated in our team’s joint presentation of the finding along with Ashe County Economic Development to the County Board for consideration. In addition, site studies were critical to inform future steps.
The final design and construction phase for the Ashe County Industrial Park project finished in spring 2022. The project received funding from local sources, Golden LEAF, ARC, and loans administered by the local electric cooperative.
