WithersRavenel provided engineering services to Goldston-Gulf Sanitary District (GGSD) to abandon an existing stand pipe and construct an elevated 250,000-gallon water storage tank, booster pump station, water line, and associated site work.
WithersRavenel performed the following activities during the project:
- Prepared and submitted grant and loan application to the USDA Rural Development
- Administered the loan/grant requirements required by USDA Rural Development
- Prepared a preliminary engineering report and environmental report consistent with USDA Rural Development requirements
- Created a hydraulic water model with existing water lines and proposed booster pump station and storage tank
- Prepared complete construction drawings and specifications and submit to all required federal, state, and local agencies for permits and approvals
- Prepared complete bid package and managed competitive bidding process
- Prepared formal construction contract documents for execution
- Provided construction administration services to closeout
