The Acorn on Person Street
The Acorn on Person Street is a multifamily apartment development in downtown Raleigh. With seven stories, more than 100 residential units, and a 200-space shared parking desk, the transformative project includes a fitness center, clubhouse, pool, elevated courtyard, work-from-home center, and a pet spa.
The site is just two blocks from the Moore Square area, which includes a popular urban park, more than 30 restaurants, and other Raleigh attractions and destinations.
The primary developer on the project was Williams Realty & Building Co., while Cline Design served as the architect and landscape architect. WithersRavenel served as the principal site/civil engineer. We provided a range of professional services for the project. Our work began with site due diligence, and extended to site planning and approval, surveying, subsurface utility exploration (SUE), fire hydrant flow testing, stormwater analysis and design services, permitting, and construction administration services.
The development was recently honored with a 2024 Downtown Imprint Award from the Downtown Raleigh Alliance in recognition of the project’s contribution to the city center’s growth and success.
