WithersRavenel provided design and construction administration for the 35-acre first phase of Knightdale’s new soccer complex, Wake Stone Athletic Park, delivering five fields, parking, walking paths, a restroom/picnic shelter, and a playground.
The project required innovative site solutions to incorporate 250,000 cubic yards of fill and maintain access for future expansion. Environmental diligence included wetland and stream delineation, site surveying, and a phased approach to minimize early impacts.
WithersRavenel also supported the Town’s effort in a PARTF grant application, facilitating public engagement and grant writing. Future phases will include five additional fields, an upgraded amenity area, additional walking paths, and a community center.
