WithersRavenel Business Development Representative Adam Caldwell is among the 56 community leaders who are part of the 2024-25 class for Leadership North Carolina (LNC).
Each year, LNC selects top leaders from sectors such as government, business, education, and nonprofits to come together to learn about vital North Carolina issues. A blend of field trips, discussions with officials and professionals, and experiential learning activities focus on six key areas: economic development, education, environment, government, health and human services, and inclusive leadership. The program aims to help participants develop greater awareness for the challenges facing our state, so they can better serve and uplift their communities.
A Johnston County resident, Adam has been with WithersRavenel since 2024. Before that, he served as the Eastern North Carolina regional representative for U.S. Sen. Thom Tillis. Adam engaged with government officials, policymakers and stakeholders, providing Sen. Tillis with valuable insights into the critical issues facing North Carolinians.
At WithersRavenel, Adam uses his robust knowledge of economic development, water/sewer improvements, disaster recovery, grant funding, and regulatory issues to help guide our eastern NC municipal clients.
“Getting to know so many industry and thought leaders across our great state has been the most enjoyable part of LNC,” Adam said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow personally and professionally while showcasing the amazing things my fellow WithersRavenel colleagues do each day,”
Adam serves on Johnson County’s Economic Development Advisory Board and is a member of the Benson Area Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Benson with his wife and their three children.
He has a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from UNC Chapel Hill, along with a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from East Carolina University. Additionally, Adam served our country as a member of the North Carolina Army National Guard.
