International Women in Engineering Day celebrates its sixth anniversary this weekend, as events across the country and around the world recognize the growing impact of women on the profession.
The annual day on June 23 aims to support women to achieve their potential as engineers, along with encouraging the education, study and application of engineering. Created by the Women’s Engineering Society, which turns 100 this year, the global celebration of women in the profession continues to grow.
